Western Frontier Insurance Agency Inc. will strive to be the best professional insurance agency in the marketing areas it services. Each product provided by the agency has an agent who specializes in that line of insurance. In doing this we will always concentrate on service to our clients, knowledge of our products, risk management and claims services. Furthermore, we continue to seek out new underwriting companies as well as keep our current contacts with superior underwriting companies.

September 17, 2001
After working 22 years in the insurance industry in Bowman, Warren Flath opened the doors of Southwest Insurance Agency in downtown Bowman.December 2001
Steve Hedstrom joined the agency and opened the Hettinger office from his home.July 2003
Steve purchased a building downtown in Hettinger and moved the agency office to Main Street.May 2005
Warren and Jesse decided to purchase an office on Main Street in Hazen where Jesse would open a 3rd location.Summer 2007
Southwest Insurance Agency changed to Western Frontier Insurance Agency, Inc. This change was brought about due to being able to register the name with the Secretary of State and Incorporate.January 2009
Western Frontier Insurance Agency purchased the Washburn Insurance Agency and the Wilton Insurance Agency expanding into two new communities, making a total of five locations in Western North Dakota to better serve our clients - Bowman, Hettinger, Hazen, Washburn and Wilton.
